SRIF is the first research and
production base of titanium alloy casting materials, technology,
product and equipment in our country invested and established
by goverment in 1965. Its technical level is in the lead in
our country. Now it has three VAR furnaces with capacity of
5kg, 80kg, and 150kg respectively and whole equipments for mechanical
processing and welding with the capacity of 150 ton per year.
For many years, SRIF undertakes a lot of scientific research
and production tasks for war industry, and provides a great
number of high and complicated Ti alloy castings for rockets,
satellites, missiles, space ships, naval ships and etc.
In civil industry, our serial Ti alloy products — centrifugal
pumps of Model TIH, TCZ, cut-off valves of Model J41W–16Ti,
ball valves of Model Q41–16Ti, fans of Model 4–72, 9–19, 9–26
and etc. have spread all over the country and exported to Canada,
United States, Korea, Singapore, India and etc.
Castings of zirconium, nickel, hastelloy, monel, stainless
steel can also be produced in SRIF.
